4 digital inputs for capturing digital signals for frequency, count, duration, PWM, and flow measurements
With the M-CNT3 4, IPETRONIK introduces a new frequency measurement module in the M3 family that significantly expands the capabilities of modular measurement technology. The module combines high precision with maximum flexibility and integrates seamlessly into the new generation of devices.
With four freely configurable channels for different measurement modes, the M-CNT3 4 enables the precise acquisition of highly dynamic signals. The high-resolution 32-bit data format ensures exceptionally accurate and reliable measurement data acquisition—even in demanding applications.
In addition to its performance, the module features an ultra-compact and robust design that is ideal for use in vehicles, on test benches, or in the laboratory. The innovative magnetic and wireless connection concept significantly reduces cabling effort, shortens installation time, and ensures a stable and fail-safe data connection.
As the newest member of the M3 family, the M-CNT3 4 benefits from a mature and proven measurement system that enables quick commissioning and reliable operation.
With CAN-FD support up to 5 Mbit/s, magnetic coupling without additional connection cables, and automatic termination, setup is significantly simplified and potential sources of error are reduced. Seamless integration with IPEmotion also simplifies the configuration, scaling, and evaluation of measurement data.
The M3 series supports up to 64 modules in a chain, enabling flexible measurement setups in vehicles, test benches, and laboratories. This scalable architecture shortens setup times and facilitates integration into complex measurement systems.
The M-CNT3 4 expands the M3 platform with a module for the precise acquisition of highly dynamic digital signals. While other modules in the series are designed for measuring analog, thermal, or electrical quantities, the M-CNT3 4 focuses on applications with high pulse density.
This makes it particularly suitable for encoder evaluations as well as for the precise acquisition and processing of frequencies. As part of the M3 series, the module integrates seamlessly into existing measurement setups and complements the platform with a powerful solution for demanding digital measurement tasks.
