The new IPEmotion 2026 R2 release offers a wide range of new features. Key highlights include ADB logging for Android devices, the integration of traffic-to-signal conversion into the IPEconverter, and extended protocol support for UDS over FlexRay.
An overview of the new features:
- ADB Logging: Capture Android debug data via USB/Ethernet, including automatic generation of bug reports triggered by defined events
- IPEconverter: Integration of traffic-to-signal conversion directly into the user interface and CLI
- Extended Protocol Support: Support for UDS over FlexRay (via PDX import) and manually configurable CAN FD messages
- Wake-on-CAN Filter: Targeted wake-up of loggers (IPE853 / ARCOS 2) by filtering based on CAN ID and message content
- Larger Data Volumes and Higher Time Resolution in Analysis: Channels can now accommodate billions of measurement values and be recorded with a time resolution of up to 1 ns
- Snapshot Mode: Efficient storage of multiple snapshots in a single, clearly structured measurement file
- CAN FD Satellites: New hardware variant with 8 interfaces (CAN FD / SIC)
- Hardware & Security: Power monitoring on the M-GATEWAY3 feature connector to protect against overload
In addition, IPEmotion 2026 R2 introduces new features for the M-CNT3 frequency modules, FFT replay in Analysis, and secure data transfers via SFTP using certificates.
