End of Live (EOL) IPEdia

Product maintanance ends as from 2010/01/01!

Dear IPETRONIK customer,

due to the continuous technical progress of our products and the corresponding modifications, we decided to stop the software development and maintanance of the DIAdem driver IPEdia (driver for the system mode).

Which systems are affected?
This affects all systems, which are used in the System Mode (IPEdia driver) for online measurements with DIAdem, i.e. systems, which include an IPETRONIK master device of the SIM-MASTER, KIM2/ KIM3/ KIM4 or KAR type.

Not affected are all systems, which are used in the Freerunning Mode (CANdia driver) for online measurements with DIAdem without an IPETRONIK master device.

What are the effects?
The development and support of the driver software will be stopped with the last released version IPEdia V03.05 from 2008/12/02 .

Prospective release tests related to firmware and software developments will also be stopped.
The functionality of existing systems is not restricted. We also guarantee further IPETRONIK support for this systems.

What should be considered?
Please note that we do not guarantee the correct functionality of the measuring system at updating the firmware of the devices (release date > 2009/12/31). The same applies for DIAdem versions > 10.1 . It is possible that systems still work after an update to the latest firmware or the current DIAdem version or that there are only a few restrictions in functionality. Please note that IPETRONIK does not support such cases.

What are the alternatives?
The functionality of the measuring devices is not restricted. They can still be used with the latest driver and software version, e.g. IPEmotion, DIAdem CANdia.
