Leakage Laboratory

Our laboratory is accredited for testing using R134a in the determination of leakage rates by the Federal Vehicle Registration Authority (KBA). We perform leakage measurement for automobile air-conditioning systems and their components in compliance with the 2006/40/EC Directive including Commission Regulation 706/2007.
Type approval can be issued for individual components or the system as a whole. Our special testing chambers can also handle components such as complete dual evaporator systems for sports cars.
In line with our service philosophy, we not only supply you with "raw" measurement results, but also provide expert consulting and development support throughout every project phase. 

Accreditation by the Federal Vehicle Registration Authority (KBA)
Our test laboratory for leakage measurement rates of air-conditioning systems is recognized by the Federal Vehicle Registration Authority (KBA).

Designated Technical Service
Since February 2010 the test laboratory is designated by the KBA and registered with the number P 00040 in the index Designated Technical Services – Test Laboratories. Test measurement results determined by our laboratory are applied for Type Approvals which are issued by the KBA.
