Calibration Laboratory
IPETRONIK operates its own testing laboratory for factory calibration of all measurement modules and data loggers. The reference specifications we use are validated to the DKD-Normal calibration standard of the German Calibration Service (DKD). Compliance of the measurement equipment with the specified tolerances is confirmed in a test certificate. IPETRONIK calibration is valid for two years and covers a far greater scoper than a mere comparison of measured values with an industrial norm.
Calibration of new equipment
Factory calibration is performed on every module before delivery as part of climate testing. Module prices include the following initial calibration services:
- Fully automated computer-controlled climate testing at ambient temperatures
(-40 °C, 23 °C, 85 °C and 120 °C) - Testing of all hardware functions at specified temperatures
- Analysis of tolerances at temperatures specified
- Documentation of any deviations recorded in the test protocol
- Issue of test certificate and award of calibration stamp
Recalibration
Fee-based recalibration services include:
- Firmware update
- Fully automated computer-controlled climate testing at ambient temperatures (-40 °C, 23 °C, 85 °C and 120 °C)
- Testing of all hardware functions at specified temperatures
- Analysis of tolerances at temperatures specified
- Comparison with new models to compensate for age-related component drift
- Documentation of any deviations recorded in the test protocol
- Programming of last calibration date
- Issue of test certificate and award of calibration stamp
Any existing damage or defects in the equipment are repaired after consultation with the client, offering the benefit of cost-optimized module repair within the scope of calibration.
