
IPETRONIK Milestones
1983: BMW awards the first commission for custom measurement technology to Pregger Engineering's Robert Heck, Horst Ihle and Bernd Pregger – the foundation stone of IPETRONIK.
1989: Industrie Präzisions Elektronik GmbH, or IPETRONIK, is founded, with major names from the automotive industry already on its customer books.
1993: IPETRONIK products premier professional-level use of CAN Bus for mobile vehicle measurement technology.
1996: Revolutionary at the time and standard today, IPETRONIK supplies the technological basis for complex applications such as truck chassis dynamometers and measurement data exchange via GSM.
2000: IPETRONIK becomes a 100% subsidiary of INDUS Holding AG, an investment company focusing on profitable medium-sized technology and production companies.
2005: IPETRONIK opens branches in France and the USA and opens its own preparation hall in Baden-Baden.
2007: Accreditation by Federal Vehicle Registration Authority (KBA) for leakage measurement in aircon systems.
2009: Go-ahead for the new Technical Center with state-of-the-art laboratory, test rig and vehicle equipment services.
2010: February; Dedication of the new facilities of the Technial Center at Baden-Baden, Germany.
